From first conversation to Ireland
Every Irish Routes journey starts with getting to know you. How you like to travel, what you’re curious about and what you want this trip to feel like.
From there, we take care of the research, routing, reservations and countless small decisions behind the scenes, shaping them into one journey that feels effortless to travel.
The process

Discover
It all starts with a conversation.
We’ll spend 30–45 minutes getting to know how you like to travel: what you’re drawn to, what you’re excited about, your preferred pace and the practical details that will shape the journey.
This initial consultation is complimentary and gives us both a chance to make sure Irish Routes is the right fit.

Design
Once we’re a good fit, we’ll begin shaping your journey, bringing together the route, places to stay and experiences into one itinerary.
You’ll receive your proposed journey and we’ll refine it together until it feels right.
Journey Design Fee: €250 for most journeys, credited towards the total cost of your trip. More complex or extended journeys may require a higher fee. Reasonable revisions are included; significant changes to the original brief may incur an additional design fee, agreed in advance.

Confirm
Once you’re happy with the journey, we’ll confirm the arrangements and secure your bookings.
A 25% deposit is due at this stage, along with any additional supplier deposits required to secure particular stays or experiences. The remaining balance is due 60 days before departure.
Then we take it from there.

Prepare
Behind the scenes, we’ll take care of the confirmations, finer details and practical planning that bring the journey together.
Before you travel, you’ll receive your final itinerary with everything you need for the trip, from reservation details and practical information to our recommendations for the places worth knowing along the way, plus a few thoughtful touches of our own.
You’ll also know exactly how to reach us should you need anything before or during your journey.

Explore
Now for the good part.
The planning is done, the details are taken care of and Ireland is yours to enjoy.
Follow the road when somewhere catches your eye, stay for another round when the music is good, linger over lunch and know that the important things have already been thought through.
